2. Dry Martini
📍C/ d’Aribau, 162
💸€€€
Dr. Stravinsky didn’t convince you? Do you want something more classic? Maybe a more English type of bar? We got you covered.
Dry Martini by Javier de las Muelas is a legacy of its previous owner and Martini lover, Don Pere Carbonell. This bar in Barcelona was founded in 1976 as a “Martineria,” meaning that they would only serve Dry Martini.
However, as the years went by, they innovated and included new cocktails, such as Margaritas, Gins, Negronis, and more.
Dry Martini is another bar in Barcelona that has been part of the 50 Best Bars of the world for years.
The ambiance remains as a sober, old English bar with wooden and leather furniture.
Most customers of Dry Martini has delighted with their experience, but as advice, and avoid any struggles, don’t forget to book a table. And, as a little heads ups, cocktails are between 12-17€.
Give the classic Dry Martini a try! I promise you won’t regret it!.
3. Paradiso
📍Carrer de Rera Palau, 4
💸€€
I hope you don’t think that this list of bars in Barcelona goes from most awarded to less awarded in the world. That is not the case. I want your trip to Barcelona to be the most memorable ever, and that can only happen with great experiences.
Paradiso is the number one bar in the 50 Best Bars of the World. So, you are going to want to save up for this one.
Paradiso, “paradise’ in Italia, has roots in la Toscana, where his founder Giacomo Gianotti.
Attention! Paradiso doesn’t make reservations; they have an online queue through a QR code on the bar’s door. Scan and sign up on the day you want to visit.
The ambiance is unique; it was meant to be a speakeasy but is now highly famous. All the cocktails and well thought out and intentionally decorated to deliver an experience in a drink.
All cocktails are recommended, and get some of their delicious dishes to match the moment.
4. Bar Marsella
📍C/ de Sant Pau, 65
💸€€
Okay, the next bar is not like Paradiso or Dr. Stravinsky, it does not have multiple awards to its name, but it offers something totally different. A journey in time.
Bar Marsella is a 19th-century bar that remains exactly the same; years, wars, people have gone through it, leaving stories in its walls, and Bar Marsella in Barcelona has kept all those stories until today. The interior decoration is exactly the same as 200 years ago, so you can imagine the feeling you will get!
Artists like Hemingway, Dalí, and Picasso were Bar Marsella’s customers, especially for one drink: absinthe.
This bar in Barcelona is a must-visit for its history, and maybe just like the artists who visited, you too will enjoy a glass of absinthe.
The Raval neighborhood has a poor reputation in Barcelona, so always keep your bag in front of you and be careful when walking at night. If it is getting too late, get an Uber instead.
5. Boca Chica
📍Passatge de la Concepció, 12
💸 €€€
Boca Chica is the bar lounge of Boca Grande (also on our list of Barcelona restaurants!). The location of this bar is perfect for those staying in the area of Gracia, just a few minutes away from Casa Millà. So, if you are staying close by, save this article!

Most of the customers of the bar Boca Chica in Barcelona describe it as elegant, with beautiful decoration and delicious cocktails. Plus, it added that the vibe was very much alive.

6. Clubhause
📍Av. del Marquès de l’Argentera, 13
💸€€
This bar in Barcelona is like any other you have visited; you can get three experiences in one place. Do one, do them all, is your choice, but I am sure you won’t want to leave the place once in.
Clubhause in Barcelona is located in the Born neighborhood, just a few minutes from Ciutadella Park (but that is not a place to be late at night).
Clubhause has three floors. The first one is the Show Room, where you can enjoy fusion tapas and signature cocktails. The second floor is the Jungle Room, where you can do some 90s karaoke, and if you feel like partying, go through the secret tunnel into the Galaxy Room! A DJ will be waiting for you to light up the party.
Don’t forget to make your reservation beforehand, especially if you want to attend a specific party!
7. 33/45
📍C/ de Joaquín Costa, 4
💸 €€
33/45 is a bar in Barcelona with a unique feature: its own radio station.
Described as a lowkey bar with great music, food, cocktails, and friendly staff that offer a relaxing setting.
33/45 is a multi-space bar that you can visit for different purposes. Be it coffee, dinner, or cocktails, this bar in Barcelona offers experiences for everyone.
Want some great news? This bar is not expensive, so you may visit it more than once during your trip!
Just like Bar Marsella, this bar in Barcelona is located in the Raval neighborhood, so be careful on your way back to your hotel.
8. Two Scmucks
📍C/ de Joaquín Costa, 5
💸 Not specified
No reservations. No name-dropping. Five-star bar in Barcelona. The 7th best bar in the world. Google does not give us the usual price insight; the Instagram profile has no website or menu.
So, with only Instagram pictures to get an idea of this top bar in Barcelona, I think the best call is to try it out. Two Schmucks are in the top ten of the best bars in the world for a reason, so it is impossible to miss it.
The vibe at Two Schmucks is described as punk and irreverent but full of creative and ingenious bartenders that are always friendly and willing to recommend and deliver the best cocktails possible.
Two Schmucks received guest chefs and bartenders to innovate the bar, and its menu is ingredient-led, meaning that you will always get something fresh and carefully thought of.
9. Solange Cocktails and Luxury Spirits
📍C/ d’Aribau, 143
💸 €€€
Solange Cocktails and Luxury Spirits is a James Bond-inspired bar in Barcelona located in the neighborhood of the Eixample, just ten minutes away from Casa Milà.
Expect a classy, chic atmosphere with an 80s interior design that will make you feel like a character in a Bond movie.
Their website could be more informative, you can see a bit of their menu and make reservations, but that’s it. However, when looking into previous customers’ experiences, they have all loved the drinks, environment, and staff of Solange Cocktails and Luxury Spirits.
In addition, this bar in Barcelona has fair prices for its service and the quality of drinks.
The drinks of Solange Cocktails and Luxury Spirits are all inspired by the 007 films, so if you don’t know what to choose, let the experts advise you!
10. Old Fashioned Gin and Cocktails
📍C/ de Santa Teresa, 1
💸€€
Just as its name suggests, Old Fashioned Gin and Cocktails is an old-fashioned bar in Barcelona that simulates the style of the speakeasies from New York during the Prohibition Era.
This bar in Barcelona is located in the neighborhood of Gracias, which is usually quiet and well-illuminated at night.
Most Old Fashioned Gin and Cocktail customers have had a good experience with the drinks’ vibe and quality. Actually! Most customers are very impressed by the detailed presentation of their cocktails.
When it comes to the bar staff, most reviews are positive, but reading a bit further, we have seen some complaints about one waiter in specific, so I hope you get no issues during your visit.
Of course, as the name suggests, you must try their Old Fashioned drink!
11. El Nacional
📍Pg. de Gràcia, 24 Bis
💸€€
Located in Passeig de Gracia, El Nacional, is a restaurant and bar in Barcelona, perfect for a light, fun, and relaxed evening.
El Nacional is open from 1:00 pm, but I recommend going at sunset or night hours because the cute, hanging lights give it a romantic aura.
As I mentioned, El Nacional is mainly a restaurant, but the concept is a bit different. It has four other spaces to enjoy various national dishes like La Taperia for tapas and La Braseria for meat dishes.
And, of course, it offers three different bars for drinks: wine, beer, and cocktails. The cocktail bar offers signature drinks like the top three on our list, and the bartenders are as well-trained in the art of cocktail making as in any other specialized bar.
Every drink is around €10, and you will find some original names like Don the Beachcomber or Fifty Shades.
12. Bobby Gin
📍Carrer de Francisco Giner, 47
💸€€
“God save the gin”
I couldn’t close this article without Bobby Gin! Magazines like Condé Nast, Vanity Fair, El País, and La Vanguardia have praised this bar in Barcelona.
This bar is in the neighborhood of Gracia, a few minutes away from Diagonal (in case you take the metro to get there!); Bobby Gin calls itself the embassy of gin, and it’s definitely true.
Customers love the incredible energy and friendly attitude of experienced bartenders. Bobby Gin has an extensive list of gins, but don’t be intimidated because if you need help deciding, the bartenders will gladly advise you and even offer samples.
For you to have an idea of the gins and types of cocktails, the bar divides it into six flavors: citric, fruity, floral, spiced, herbal, and balanced. The average price for the gins is between €11 - €18.
Have you picked your favorite just yet? I know that a lot of the bars listed here show a three-euro sign, but you don’t have to worry. If you stick to getting a good cocktail and maybe some shared tapas, the bill won’t kill your wallet.
Remember, experiences come one in a lifetime, and I bet you you won’t want to regret drinking a cocktail with the power to heal your heart.
