Spring, summer, and even the beginning of autumn are the perfect season to have a drink rooftop of Barcelona, not only because the terraces re-open their doors but also because it’s incredibly comforting to sit under the sun in a secluded space from the city’s noise.
The difference between most rooftops in Barcelona and Madrid is that the rooftops at Madrid’s hotels are usually open to the public. In contrast, most of the terraces in the Catalan capital require you to be a guest at the hotel or divide the spaces to not disturb them.
It all comes down to preferences! If you book a table on one of these rooftops or are a guest, you will have a great time enjoying the city’s stunning view.
⚠️ Important notice: Most rooftops in Barcelona are exclusively available for the hotel’s customers. So, check the bookings and conditions carefully before you visit.
