1. EME Terrace
📍Alemanes, 27, 41004 Seville
Historical memory and avant-garde design are the mixes of two concepts that were worked on when creating this hotel. So we already caught the vibe, right?
The renowned architect Juan Pedro Donaire restored 14 Sevillian houses to shape the different accommodation spaces, composed of 60 rooms in which the decoration is one of the strong points. But this is not just a simple hotel; it has the most beautiful rooftop in Seville, and I could even say one of the best terraces in Spain!
Only 15 meters separate the incredible terrace from the Cathedral of Seville, the largest Gothic temple in the world. That’s what makes it unique and so special.
Its deck is extraordinary, and that luxury is also paid for as it has slightly higher prices than other rooftops in Seville. But it pays off with high-quality service, delicious cocktails, tasty bites, and a chic lounge vibe.
The EME terrace is set over two levels, known for being a modern and trendy rooftop. It opens 365 days a year but is at its peak when good weather arrives in Seville. See when:
It becomes a meeting point for tourists and locals looking for a drink with the best views and music.
Suppose you want to have dinner before going to the rooftop for drinks. In that case, I recommend you go to its cafeteria on the first floor and its Italian restaurant of EME hotel, which has an outstanding gastronomic offer.
Overall, you will love the close-up views over La Giralda, complemented by the majestic panoramic view of the Seville skyline.
2. Maria Trifulca
📍Puente de Triana, Pl. del Altozano, 1, 41010 Seville
Another Sevillian restaurant and open terrace that guarantees a dream location and views is María Trifulca.
This spectacular location stands on the old Triana lighthouse. When you finish your dinner, it becomes a perfect place to have some drinks.
It is next to the Isabel II Bridge overlooking the Guadalquivir, Betis Street, and the entire Arenal neighborhood. The place is perfect for a “Spanish sobremesa” (extending your meal by chatting and drinking) or starting the evening with a few cocktails or wine.
The two terraces will take your breath away. The views are breathtaking from all perspectives. Calle Betis, the Cathedral with the Giralda, the bullring, and the Pelli Tower stand around the restaurant.
In the past, it was a passenger station and freight depot on the route between Seville and Sanlúcar de Barrameda, which was inaugurated in 1924.
Don’t worry if it’s raining or cold; the interior is also spectacular. You will feel like you are in a cave; the lower lounge conveys an intimate and quiet atmosphere.
3. Patio de la Alameda Terrace
📍P.º de las Delicias, 3, 41001 Sevilla
Located in the hotel with the same name, in the middle of Alameda de Hércules, the Patio de la Alameda terrace offers another view of the city’s ordinary rooftops.
From this rooftop terrace, you can see the Torre de Don Fabrique and Torre Sevilla and a vast horizon in search of the Guadalquivir.
You can visit it no matter the season, as the terrace has a glazed part conditioned for cold and heat in Winter. See related activities you can do while traveling during that time:
The decoration is minimalist, where black and white are the protagonists. They serve drinks, coffees, infusions, sweet cakes, and snacks.
Among their cocktails, mojitos stand out, and among their beers, craft and gluten-free beers.
Every drink includes something to snack, like small tapas, jelly beans, nuts, and a mini pastry. Also, the drinks are not pricy as they are around 7€.
4. Pura Vida
📍Segovias 6, 41004 Sevilla España
At the top of this luxury hotel is another excellent terrace in Seville with great views to visit with friends or on a date and enjoy its extensive tropical cocktail bar.
Its gastronomic offer ranges from classic Spanish tapas to daring Asian fusions. But there are other things this fantastic terrace has. In addition to its culinary offerings, this space also hosts a variety of activities. You can’t miss the outdoor concerts, it is an incredible experience!
The terrace is located in the penthouse of the Hotel Casa de Indias by Intur. It is open to hotel guests, tourists, and locals. It is located in a significant building from the 16th century.
They host concerts and live acustic flamenco performances with great artists! If you are in Seville and you are looking for a fun activity, or event to enjoy with family or friends, Pura Vida is a great option.
As for the decoration, it presents a simple but cozy and personal space, with abundant natural vegetation and modern furniture. Its views show a unique panoramic view of Seville’s main landmarks! Read more about them in the following article:
Their extensive tropical cocktail bars have very cool combinations, such as the Tamarindo mojito, the Hurricane piña colada, the Pura Vida cocktail, or a unique natural fruit mojito, among other specialties. They have an average price between 7 - 9 € euros.
5. Terraza Roof Y Cía
📍C. Trajano, 15, 41002 Seville
You can enjoy all this and much more at Roof Y Cía, on the terrace of the Hotel Casa Romana. It is a two-story terrace perfect for having a good time any day of the week or even celebrating private events in the most intimate atmosphere. Its slogan states that it is “the terrace that has it all.”
You will be able to see a 360º view of the neighborhood of Las Setas and its surroundings. Some of the city’s best ideas can be seen in the upper level and open-air terrace, while the lower level is a more cozy and covered cocktail bar.
The rooftop bar has cocktails, wines, smaller tapas, and full dishes for hungry people like us!
Usually, a resident DJ plays soft tunes in the background, making it even more relaxing and a great rooftop.
6. Hotel Inglaterra
📍 Pl. Nueva, 7, 41001 Seville
More than 200 square meters and a capacity for up to 100 people are the dimensions of this classic terrace viewpoint of the Hotel Inglaterra. A must-see place to include in your Seville bucket list.
And if you still need more ideas, here are the best plans and activities to enjoy while you stay:
This large and modern Seville rooftop bar is in the heart of the old town, right on Plaza Nueva. It is decorated with a long, stylish bar and lots of front-row lounge furniture.
They serve a large selection of crafted cocktails, a vast selection of wine, and some lovely tapas.
So, you can vibe with Vermouth, have lunch, or attend one of their concerts or other events. It offers a fantastic 360-view over the city skyline, including all the famous spots like the Cathedral and the Opera
They also offer the possibility of using the terrace for private celebrations.
You will see spectacular views of the city’s historic center and a great atmosphere to spend quality time in. The terrace is another ideal place to watch a sunset over the city, as it is a hidden gem.
7. Lonja del Barranco Terrace
📍Arjona, 24, 41001 Seville
This terrace belongs to the Lonja del Barranco Market, next to the Triana Bridge. I was very impressed by their excellent gastronomic offer, as it is fantastic!
Lonja del Barranco is a must if you are looking for ample space to have some drinks and where finding a spot is unlike the movie mission impossible.
Easily one of the best terraces in Seville for those looking for comfort and convenience. The atmosphere makes it a reference point, offering a fantastic chill-out zone for visitors with exceptional service.
8. Gourmet Experience Duque
📍Edificio Corte Inglés, Pl. del Duque de la Victoria, 8, Floor 5
On the top floor of the El Corte Inglés shopping center in Plaza del Duque, there has been, for some years now, a space dedicated to the most exclusive gastronomy.
It has a gourmet store, and on the terrace, they serve delicious snacks and delight you with a cocktail or a vermouth.
More than a terrace, this space offers multiple experiences: lunch, dinner, or drinks while listening to live music or attending one of the many social and cultural events held there throughout the year.
Live performances are held every Friday and Saturday night. I recommend visiting this spot as it is chill, relaxed, and well-known.
9. Hotel Vincci
📍Castelar, 24, 41001 Seville
Hotel Vincci has one of the most majestic terraces. They also serve as a gastronomic delight for diners, offering incredible drinks and spectacular views of the Andalusian capital.
Definitely a very cool experience in a privileged spot. Good quality, variety of dishes, adequate service, views, and charming surroundings.
The servers are superb, and the service is excellent. Although the menu is not extensive and cheap, all the food is fantastic and well-presented.
10. Terraza Atalaya - Eurostars
📍C/ Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada, 2, 41092 Sevilla
Luxury views for a luxury hotel in the heart of the Santa Cruz district. This exclusive viewpoint overlooking the Guadalquivir River opens doors to Sevillians and tourists to enjoy its modern and well-kept terrace more than 180 meters above sea level.
I might have saved the best for last, but that’s also up to preferences. Still, this is undoubtedly the highest point in Seville.
At this terrace, you can enjoy a bar with drinks, an extensive list of wines, and an Andalusian tapa or unique and classic cocktails.
Comfort, luxury, and design are all concepts mixed in this rooftop. The experience is well worth the price.
What else can I say about this place? It is the perfect spot for fine drinks while watching a beautiful sunset, as it has one of the most impressive views you could ever see.
